Egesa’s technology journey started in his childhood. As a young kid with an undeniable mathematical groove. He set out to write computer programs for most of the topics he studied in his school mathematics. By the age of 15, he had progressed to working with logic circuits. At the 2000 – National Science and Technology Fair held at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole, he emerged as the Best Technology Exhibitor and Best Overall Exhibitor with his project dubbed “The Microprocessor”.

While a student at Makerere University’s then Faculty of Technology where he was pursuing a BSc in Civil Engineering, he participated in the Annual Technology Open Day in 2006 and 2007 – scooping the awards for the Best Electrical Engineering Exhibitor and Best Overall Exhibitor on both occasions.
